Elevated vertical airport lights are navigation aid lamps installed on both sides and extension lines at both ends of runway and taxiway, which are used to indicate the outline of the airport. These areas are far away from the runway and are not easy to be touched by aircraft tires during airport operation. Therefore, the lamps installed in these areas can be no more than 350mm higher than the pavement.

PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indication) System: Guides aircraft to approach the runway at the appropriate altitude. The top half of the beam is white and the bottom half is red. The combination of red and white light allows the pilot to judge and adjust altitude effectively.
PAPI vs APAPI: The PAPI system consists of four precision approach course indicators. The APAPI system consists of two precision approach course indicators.
A single light unit consists of a light body assembly (upper cover, front glass, box, lens, filter, bulb) and three brackets (flanges, easy-to-break parts, rods). Brackets support the body and adjust the height and elevation angle.
